Rachael Voelker MA, LMFT

Rachael is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist committed to treating individuals of all ages, families, and couples. Rachael has been providing therapy services for 4 years, she graduated with her Master's in 2017 and been with BetterHelp since licensed in 2021. She feels confident working with clients who struggle with depression, anxiety, trauma, family conflict, pre/post-divorce, and behavioral concerns in children. Rachael is a certified Parent-Child Interactive Therapist and has completed trainings in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy. Studies show that most individuals seek out therapy when they are in a state of crisis and when their bodies are out of homeostasis. Voelker excels in helping clients return to their pre-crisis state. Voelker, while focusing on both a systemic and strength-based approach, highlights the strengths of several therapy techniques including cognitive behavior, solution-focused, and motivational interviewing. Utilizing this approach allows several models of change to be integrated thus placing the client’s needs and goals as the driver to focus on the long-term success of the client. Rachael has an Associate of Science degree in General Studies, from Northeast State Community College; a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, from King University; and a Master of Art in Marriage and Family Therapy from Liberty University. Voelker has been working in the mental health field since 2013.
