FIND TIME IN YOUR STORY TO LEARN TO LOVE YOURSELF!!!!!!!!!
I have always been the woman who inspires, helps, and repairs others but nine years ago I realized I was BROKEN and needed time to fix myself. When coming out of a relationship that was abusive (physically, verbally or emotionally) it takes time to cleanse your body from the hurt that was caused by the person you thought was supposed to love you the most. What is our biggest mistake (men and women)…. Jumping right back into something, usually something unhealthy, because it is a band aid. It makes the boo boo feel better temporarily. What happens when you rip that Band-Aid off though? It bleeds, it hurts, and it is open and vulnerable to infection. This is like our life…. We are the boo boo, we are damaged, we are vulnerable. We must gain back control of our own life and find time in our story to learn to love ourselves. Who are we now? 
I am not the same woman I was nine years ago. That woman in the photo is self confident, independent, and can take on the world… but WHY? HOW? Nine years ago she was damaged, she was self conscious, and she was scared… it would have been easy to find security in another person but instead she dove into herself and no matter how scary it was she started repairing piece by piece starting on the inside. 
Saying this, what does that look like now? How does one look after they have learned to love themselves? They know their worth, they can recognize true, real, butterfly flapping in your stomach love. The kind of love that makes your cheeks hurt! That IS THE LOVE WE WANT… it is the real stuff, the stuff that you read about, the stuff you watch on movies…. (Maybe that is extreme) but it is the kind of love worth waiting for! This kind of love CAN NOT AND WILL NOT HAPPEN if you are broken.
Ladies & gentleman do yourself a favor and FIND TIME IN YOUR STORY TO LEARN TO LOVE YOURSELF! You don’t need a companion but you are worth and deserve something that knocks your socks off and that will happen when your body is whole and ready. You will shine… and that shine will attract your perfect mate! Wait…. Wait for it… wait for the butterflies!

This is MY journey that led me here today, that led me to get my Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy and led me to open a practice so I can help others find time to LOVE themselves!
